A few of us got together a couple of weeks ago to visit the New York Aquarium. It turned-out to be a beautiful day with plenty to see and photograph.
The key points of photographing at an aquarium were discussed as we walked, talked, and were awe struck by the wonders this place had to offer. The main point is to try and eliminate, or limit the reflections you are faced with when photographing through glass. Because of the low ambient lighting, using a polarizing filter to eliminate reflections is not an option since you can loss a stop or more of exposure. The best option is to wear dark clothing, being aware of the reflection sources, bump up your ISO, shoot RAW is you have an option, and never use flash.
Here are just a few of the wonderful images captured that day.

Looks like everyone had a great time, sorry that I missed the last "Photo walk".
"SO WHEN IS THE NEXT ONE TAKING PLACE?"
It was a lot of fun.
The next walk will probably be at the Brooklyn Botanical GArden in the next few weeks.
Hope you can join us.
